The Consignment Process

  1. What items should you consign?
    Furniture – Tables, Chairs, Sofas, Head/Foot Boards, Chests, Bureaus, Desks, Items must be cleaned and in good working condition. *Cleaning fees may be applied. Decorative Accessory Items - Variety of items considered. Always looking for quality, unique items. Lighting - Lamps/Chandeliers – Must be in working order with appropriate lamp shades. .
  2. Prepare consignor items for sale.
    Now is the time to prepare your items for consignment. Clean your item(s) for consignment. Polish or shine items. Repair any items to be sturdy and in full functional working condition. *Cleaning fees may be applied.
  3. Schedule an appointment.
    Please contact us to schedule an appointment for drop off. Appointments are available on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday. Store Main Number: 603-782-3009 or email [email protected] *Photos are requested prior to scheduling an appointment for most items. *Please bring help to unload and move items.
  4. Consignor contract.
    You will be set up in our system as a "consignor". A copy of our consignment contract is available for review and signature in our store. *Access to your contract is available in our Consignor Access Website.
  5. Pricing your items.
    One of the first questions on everyone’s mind usually is: “How should I price my consignment merchandise?” When you consign with Bedford Home Consignment, we will price items based on the condition and style to determine the best selling price. You will receive 50% of the final sell price.
  6. Consignor website access.
    Our consignment software allows you the "consignor" to have full access to all items you have on consignment with Bedford Home Consignment. Visit *Enter your Consignor ID to access the website. *You can always reset your password.
